I enjoyed Bjork on 5th Dec at Orchard Hall in Tokyo.
The Orchestra is Tokyo Phil., it belongs to the Orchard Hall,
I tought that means the orchestra would be expected excellent
and we could share the harmony of Bjork, sounds, and orchestra.
But it betrayed my expectation deadly.
I supporse Bjork also felt some unsatisfuction to the orchestra.
(it's just my supporse. I don't know what she feels exactly even though
I wish that.)
Because Bjork holds a mike in her right hand,
but she sometimes moves her left hand violently as if she plays a cello
instead of the cellists and violinists.
I feel sorry to her.
I know she loves music, sounds, and people.
But I couldn't feel the orchestra's love to her.

The audience was quiet.
Because most Japanese is so shy to express their feelings.
But I saw some people kept their tears on their beautiful black eyes,
with their impressions and love for Bjork which cannot to be expressed
in words.
Bjork answered to us.
She hit her left hand hardly many times singing Unison, on the lylics,
"one hand loves the other".
I felt love from Bjork, and still I'm feeling.
To talk about Bjork's stage in Japan,
I think there's the best way of realization to share love with Bjork's
music,
and we haven't found it yet.
But I believe we can find it soon.
I send Bjork many thanks and love.
I'm sending, and it goes on.

Thank you, and hope you around the world enjoy Bjork's music.

Thanks.

Orchard hall Dec.5th(Tokyo Japan)
How's it going?
I'm excelllllllentttttttttt!!!!

I heard all is full of love...
My right eye catches white light.
(When I think of now maybe it was an emergency exit lamp.)
And I could not see all of them.
The moment…
I feel cold thing of my legs.
Then I understand that I am crying...

I do not want to all things anymore.
This is truth.
Because I have "TODAY".
TODAY is Dec.5th.

Here is review of Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Japan, 12/05/01 and Orchard Hall
picture.

I was eager for listening Bjork's live performance. It might have worked, I
got a ticket, fortunately! At last, I could experienced this wonderful,
precious live.

The stage illuminated by spot light, Bjork emerged form the dark - I can't
forget the feeling of the moment to see it.
She was like a little girl, resting her cheek on her hand, and listening
'Overture' was performed.

In the first part was gentle and calm, then changed rapidly, it was hot
stage in the second one. I really enjoyed it. It seemed like, we saw
various Bjork in herself.
Her voice was wonderful, it came to me deeply. I have never moved like this
before, hearing somebody's sing.
'Joga' with orchestra was cool and great.
The harp in 'generous palmstroke' was so beautiful, Greenland Choir was cute
and pretty.
In the Last Song, 'Our Hands', we all claped our hands, so impressive!
Everybody in the concert was smiling and looks happy at the time.

Bjork in the stage, her expression, movement, behaviour, everything was so
cute! She said 'Thank you' in Japanese (ARIGATO), that was also really cute
:)

Thank you Bjork, for giving us impressive show like this. I'll never forget.
and in addition, since seats were limited this time, there are many Japanese
fans who couldn't go to live. So - I know it is too soon to say this -
please come to Japan again, please! we all are looking forward to it!

Hello! I'm Hiroyuki M.

Fortunately, I could get the ticket for Bjork's Japan tour on Orchard Hall, Dec. 5.
And I went to her concert in the mood of a lot of excitements.

Before I went to her concert I had an expectation that tonight will be wonderful night,
but such my expectation was right!! I was really overcome by her performance, her beautiful voice and her charming behavior.

I watched her performance from the 2nd floor but I could really enjoy it and could memorize it in my heart. All audiences around me were standing and dancing from the beginning of Part 2 though the Orchard Hall has been usually used for classical music concert or opera. (People listening to such music in that Hall are generally sitting until the concert ended.) Also Bjork seemed to take pleasure in singing and dancing in front of us, I think.

Finally, I’m sorry for my poor English skill, and thank you for your patience to read my review. We hope Bjork comes back to Japan again!

05 dec - Orchard Hall, Tokyo:

This show was filmed by a Japanese TV station!
In the show, Bjork covered a TV-camera with a cloth suddenly.
Very cute!

Hiro

It was really fantastic night.....
Since this is my first time to see Bjork' s live, I can't compare anything, but YOU KNOW, this is GREAAAT!!!!

Especially, pagan poetry/joga touched my heart.

Bjork seems bit nervous in the beginning of the show (because of audience was stayed very calm??) but I believe we could symphasized at last.

We have only 3 shows in Tokyo this time and hall's capacity was 2,000-3,000 each(lots of people couldn't get ticket at all), there were many many fans awaiting for Bjork will coming back to Japan soon!!!!

thx,
Kayo
