hearing bjork's music and voice in those loud speakers was a dream come true!!!!

This concert was beyond words!!! I loved the pyrotechnics for Earth Intruders and the lasers for Army of Me, Pluto, and Declare Independance. Where is the Line and Oceania were amazing renditions of the originals, my heart stops remembering the crowd screaming at the Medulla tracks. Joga as well was phenominal on brass, as well as Anchor Song...<3 The whole gig was very memorable as my first Bjork concert =) And Venus as a Boy? On Harpsichord? Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine something so crystallizingly beautiful.
...and Matthew, Jakes Shears, and Babydaddy were in the audience! My life is complete.

I LOVE HER AND CANNOT WAIT UNTIL SHE COMES BACK!!!

I am listening to the recording of this show, and it is fantastic! Thank you Björk for all your special guests so we could really feel the spirit of your new songs. And thank you for the surprise of Venus as a Boy, and Where is the Line. But thanks to your whole crew and you, the show was amazing, and this was my second time seeing you solo (1st time was at the August 22nd show at Cyclone Stadium at Coney Island). Both were amazing, and I can't wait to see you again.

This show was absolutely breathe taking. I still have chills when I talk to people about how beautiful the show was.

PERFECT.

Björk really does love her fans. How else to explain the inclusion in the setlist of such beautiful gems like Venus as a Boy (solo with harpsicord--Jools Holland DVD version!), Aurora, and Anchor Song. This concert was the epitome of an artist at the peak of her performing abilities--confident, strong, witty, wise, and yet ultimately humble. Once again strong in voice, she provided both a career retrospective, and a wonderful introduction to the new material. This concert represents the successful first step in a triumphant return to live performance. The next year and half shall be heaven for Bjork fans worldwide.

It is impossible to describe! When I heard the opening of "Venus as a Boy" I just got all shivvery and tingly... I lost myself. It was absolutely wonderful. I cannot recall a more fun, intense, and incredible night. Every song was a gift.

/icelandnme - 2692
oh yeah, and i forgot the first notes of pagan poetry, i lost my mind. and pluto brought the untz. it was definitely one of the best concerts ive ever been to

/brendangen - 2691
my first bjork show and it was epic. all of the medulla was great. i couldnt stop smiling throughout the whole concert. i actually yelped like a little girl when she started in on oceania and anchor song

/brendangen - 2690
WOW! What a most beautifullest colorific menagerie. I was in the front rows for this concert and it was the most fun I've had in a long time. SMILES!

The concert was amazing from the first moment. The red flames right into earth intruders. That set the momentum. From then on it was like every song was one upping the previous. The new music is amazing and the whole band was nothing but perfect. This was my second time seeing Bjork. As the first time she thanked everyone after every song. I truly believe she means it and knows that everyone there loves her. I was amazed at the wide range of fans from the stock broker to the art student. To this day I tell everyone I know that she is the best live performance ever, and last night proved it again. The set was great, the mood was there and so was the bass. The building was pumpin as was the audience. Thanks again.

A fan for for so long, yet my first show! I loved it! I was on the 3rd mezzanine, but it worth being there! I was so happy to see you perform live & very glad to experience Joga, Army of Me & especially Venus As A Boy.
Thank you.

My god...i can't describe how amazing Bjork was at Radio City...it was my first Bjork concert, and it was the best concert i've ever been to in my entire life! All the guests were excellent, the all-female icelandic brass band was excellent, and bjork was absolutely stunning...her voice was so powerful, beyond what i imagined. I esp. loved when she said "Oh! There you are!" when Anthony came out. Every song was amazing, i danced in the aisle and jumped around, it felt like such an adreneline rush! And i still feel like im dancing with her, feeling at one with her music and feeling absolutely connected to the emotion and power of her voice and her spirit. Thank you bjork for this awesome experience, i hope to see you again in the future!

Great Show. Bjork absolutely blew me away. She was so adorable, especially when Anthony came out onto the stage and Bjork couldn't find him...so she jumped around and finally saw him. I wish I was Anthony.

She played some of my favorites.

I started dancing, but utimitely...some "fan" told me to sit down during "Pluto". Craziness!

/butterfly331 - 2684
The sound was spectacular - much better than the last time she played Radio City. Seriously, each sound drove light beams right into the heart of me. So glad she played such raging songs! Just what we needed!!!!

And her voice! She really was on top of her game last night.

But what was with all the lame people in the audience? I mean, come on. I was so excited when I saw all the people in the lobby with the glow stick things (ok i know, the Rave is over, but its bright colors! In everyone's hands! How can you not love that?) but then I guess people were feeling too self conscious to dance, or move or raise their own flags?! Oh well, the lack of movement from the bodies around me aided in the focus of the sound, so I guess every cloud has its silver lining.

Bjork, thank you for reinventing the heartbeat!

/arleyrose - 2683
this show was brilliant! the setlist was great! her voice was perfect! i was only a few rows from the stage. only complaint were several people in the audience being a bit obnoxious when it wasn't really necessary. well, i guess if they had fun..that's all that matters! but, they were acting a bit silly and it was VERY annoying. oh, and the person sitting next to me had smelly feet!

i'm looking forward to the apollo! i have front row for that one, so i won't have any heads infront of me. excellent.

/projectb - 2682
Solid show. I as well was in the front. I was in the non pit third row center and felt the sound wasnt really dialed in for us. One of my friends was in front of the sound board and he said it sounded amazing. Can't please everybody in a hall that big. I also was a touch awkward when the natural drummer came right out of the gate and tore the first song out of time for a solid 16 bars. He wasnt in time with the track for a few other moments in the show as well. Monitor issues or click track or whatever. Not sure what was up. Bjork handled it like the pro she is and she was fabulous the entire time. The only other negative was that the brass choir was tired by the end of the show and couldnt really finish out Anchor song strong. Airy sounds from lead trumpet and falling out of tune. I have a degree in trombone so I was jealous that they were up there instead of me anyway.....LOL

I totally don't want to nitpick though. The show was a great time. Beautifull set and color scheme. The second half of Earth Intruders was a highlight. I got chills. Aurora was the loudest subs I have heard in Radio City before. Yes!! All if full of Love was a highlight as well.
Pluto really rocked and Declare Independance brought everyone up chanting with her. Perfect closer!!
Thanks so much Bjork!!

DECLARE INDEPENDENCE!!!!

Excellent show. Not my favorite of all the shows I've seen of her (what am I up to? 8, 9, 10?), but excellent nonetheless.

I had "front row" seats (row AA) that weren't really front row - they filled in the "pit" with 3 more rows of temporary seats, several of which were empty throughout the show (???). Front row is great, especially at such a huge venue, but, the only drawback is that the sound isn't as good. I was really looking forward to hearing Earth Intruders, but the sound was not great for it.

However, the sound WAS perfect for Jóga, Army of Me, Pluto, and Declare Independence. Those four were the highlights for me - what can i say...i love the BASS!!! BOOOM! Especially Army of Me. I think I haven't heard that one live since the Homogenic tour.

Also, it was pretty cool to hear some "reworked" versions of older songs - like the added horn sections for the Vespertine songs - but I have to say I would have preferred Matmos. And too bad Rahzel couldn't be there for the Medulla songs!

I have to say, Declare Independence really blew me away. I'm a huge fan of 90's Digital Hardcore (i.e. Alec Empire, Atari Teenage Riot, EC8OR, Hanin Elias), and this song immediately reminded me that genre - both musically and lyrically. What an amazing song! And what a way to close the show!

Can't wait for Saturday when I get to see her again!

/ejbelair - 2680
Sull Flame of desire was wonderful. Declare independence rocked so so hard! amelio down there is a sourpuss

/turpentine - 2679
Fantastic, brilliant, gorgeous...What more could be said?

/yagizaksu - 2678
Absolutely unbelievable!! Really wanted to tear down those seats at Radio City to dance with her!!

/naorltd - 2677
Absolutely fantastic!. Had great seats. And the beer got things going off right. Konono No. 1 set the mood off right. I wasn't expecting the pyrotechnics in Radio City for the opening of Earth Intruders. Konono No. 1 marched on the stage much like the video and played a short section of the tune. Venus as a Boy and even Army of me was a big suprise. She did 6/10 off the new album and 3 from Medulla which was great. The live version "I see who you are" has a rhythmic backbone as opposed the loose sound of the album version, and the guest pipa(?) player from china (sorry forget the name) was exquisite. I loved it. Bjork and Antony rocked back and forth for "Dull Flame" which was very cute and at one point Antony started jumping with excitement and Bjork soon followed. The end of the show was out of control with "Where Is The Line?" and all the other aggressive songs. I only wish the crowd was a little more into dancing like I was. I just wanted it to go crazy! Brava Bjork.

/haizum - 2676
The new arrangements were stipped down and punched up from the last tour. Lots of base, and everything was on 10 . . . full on.

A totally fun concert, lot's of energy. Bjork's voiced was great!

go Bjork!

/tomek - 2673
AMAZING SHOW!! Every time I see her in concert she just gets better and better. "Army Of Me" was un-freakin-believable, as was the new version of "Where Is The Line" (Mark Bell tore that UP!!)....and "Pluto" & "Declare Independence" are a killer one-two punch combination at the end -- left me wishing she'd just keep going. :) Also great to hear "Aurora" live for the first time....and the performance with Antony was intense & sincere.

I mean, who else could put on a show like that with a 10 girl french-horn section and a laser lightshow?!?! lol

/chrisnyc75 - 2672
Mah, from where i was sitting it was kinda not as great as I was expecting
I find Antony annoying. but it was cute when Björk was looking for him and he showed up right behind her and she said "there you are" in her cute voice <3
Me, I really liked Oceania the trumpets are the best part
Where is the line was cool and i really like the anchor song
Konono No1 were really great. From where I was sitting I seemed to be the only one enjoying them.
After the sow there were loons screaming "DON'T LET THEM DO THAT TO YOU!" (alcohol was present at the venue)

/Ameilio - 2670
Army of Me tore into me, harder than I've ever heard it. Innocence was unbelievable and Pluto left me without breath.

/freshtroy - 2669
Hearing about the setlists of previous performance, I was absolutely taken aback when she surprised us with so many different songs. I didn't expect Venus as a Boy to be performed. It was an honor to hear the first performance of I See Who You Are with Min Xiao-Fen on the Pipa!! Then to feature such artists as Konono and Anthony in the same night was SPLENDID. It was so cute how he snuck up on her, "Oh! There you are!" Dull Flame of Desire was an adorable duet. Observing the Hyperballad/Pluto performance of other concerts, I did not expect Where Is The Line? to precede Pluto, which was a great combo. Lastly, it was a treat to have a two-song encore!!

/mada - 2668
Absolutely amazing!!!!! I have seen her five times and this was the best one thus far!!--

/rls - 2667
The show was fantastic!! I'm still recovering from her mind-blowing closing performance of Pluto.
