If last Sunday's gig was terrific, last night's was incredible!
She launched herself onto stage with Earth Intruders and her turbant-mushroom-hat she used for Coachella festival. People seemed not ready for it, and it was a while before they all started jumping to the sound.
She followed with Pagan Poetry... Yeah, PAGAN POETRY! And the only bad thing was having to stand a fucking asshole on the row behind shouting to a guy next to me to sit down. I wanted to hit him back outside, but i was so excited and happy that i forgot about that.
Again, she pissed off at the cameras. She went horribly nervous and tried to slap a camera off the arm of a guy in the first row. She gave him "the finger" after asking him to stop twice, and then went to talk with a security guy. She came back, and when Jónas was beginning to play the first chords of Vökúro she bid him stop, and had to ask once again that people don't film or take pictures. "It's like playing for paparazzi or something. "IF you want me to be in the moment with you, you have to be in the moment WITH me".
Her attire and set list was totally different from last time. This time she wore another golden dress, which embroideries and flaps looked like the concentric stains of lychen or moss, over glittery silver leggings.
I couldn't stop jumping and dancing and singing along! And she thanks that: she looked at me in the eye, several times while she was performing! As soon as I could move I blew her a kiss, kind of of awkwardly, and she smiled back and kept her luminous glance as she sang the last lines of Wanderlust (she had forgoten the lyrics of that one, but it's NOT a Björk gig if she doesn't do that, haha!).
She did Hidden Place, All Is Full of Love, Vökuro, Human Behaviour, Hope, and Desired Constellation (on ReacTable), besides the songs she always plays on this tour. For the later I was getting thrills of emotion all over my body reaching a peak in the end, when she began singing a new line "again, and again, and again", in ever increasing pitch and sweetness!
For the end I began giving away fluorescent sticks to everyone at hand (even Charly Garcia, who sat on first row WITHOUT a ticket, got one! I would have killed him had he stolen MY place... him, or anyone) and it was awesome because she did TWO songs for the encore... Human Behaviour and Declare Independence! And it was amaaaazing! She began after all the audience sang happy birthday to Jónas Sen :) Someone told me last night that his father had passed away one hour before Sunday's gig, and that's why Björk dedicated him the night. He won't join her for the next dates of the Volta Tour latin american branch.
Besides Mark Bell's genious, Damian Taylor's charisma and the beautiful freshness of the Wonderbrass, Chris Corsano deserves a separate line... during his solo at the end of Hope he played so fast and with such intensity that a part of his drums fell off, and his sticks broke up, and he never gave up!

Thank you, Björk, thank you SO much! In the name of everyone who could be there and power our souls with the fierce beauty you brought us: TAKK!

This is the first time I see her live.

The sound was great, the lights were a little bit less than what I expected. I don't remember if it was before Vokuro, but she said "I'm sorry.." and with the light spotting her, she kindly asked the crowd to stop taking so many pictures, because it was "hard to concentrate".

At the beginning of Bachelorette she started singing later, that was the only mistake that I noticed.

The ReacTable is simple incredible....

And finally, I think that it was too short...

But anyway the concert was AWSOME! I love her..!
