This was my very first Björk concert experience and I am very glad to say that it was AMAZING!!!

I disagree with others who say that the setlist seemed 'incomplete'... I thought the setlist was very planned out and was executed perfectly.

The vibe in the theater was electric, Björk was in a very good mood, and her voice was top notch.

I danced, laughed, cried, screamed, and sang. The night was truly one of the best experiences of my life. After seeing Björk live, my life will never be the same.

Immature, Unison, Earth Intruders, Hyperballad, Pluto, and Declare Independence were definente highlights of the night for me. The lighting was dazzling, the energy was just great. And the confetti during Declare Independence was AMAZING!

Björk brought the house down and really knows how to do a show. I'm eternally grateful that I had the grand opportunity to see the one and only Björk LIVE - IN PERSON! It was wonderful!!

This is my second time seeing the beautiful enchanted bjork My first time was at the shoreline in SAN FRANSISCO. That show was absolutley amazing. This one was truly all over the place with the setlist she did perform some amazing songs but, it din't flow together at all. She should of opened with Earth Intruders and ETC... Let me just rearange this SETLIST to make it amazing

IMMATURE
OCEANIA

DECLARE INDEPENDENCE

OMG!!!!! This would of been an awsome fucking show earth intruders and next wanderlust YES!!!!!! That would of threw people off gaurd
And then the slow yet personal and powerful ballads creep there way into the mood
And then after the creepy sounds of cover me BOOM!!!!!!! Army of me explodes after
And Then all the performances with lasers should be together to make the concert more edgey
And then that sweet Anchor song towards the end would of put the iceing on the cake

BJork you are so amazing this was my second time seeing you this year I do Declare that 2007 was the year of BJORK for me personally. Your music has made me very obsessive and it has distracted me from my normal way of living. You remind me of myself so much. I myself am living and the city and the city is consuming me with all of its radiance in life when I see the post cover I see myself. That wide eyed boy from the city now, but still is missing my home town."I'm Crying", Thank you Bjork I prey for a safe trip to you and all of your band mates next year KICK ICELANDIC ASS!!!!!!!

Love,
Lance Frazier

PS:Happy Holidays & have a Happy New Year

Thank U BJORK!! Show was Great, Bjork was very Playful and full of Energy. She is the Greatest Artist of our lifetime (in my Opinion) and I hope she keeps making Music and Performing till she Drops!! I have seen her several times over the years and no matter how good or bad the venue there is just something Amazing about hearing her sing live. Nokia theatre was a bit of a Let Down as far as Visuals but the sound was Pretty clean (little more Sub would have been Great). She said it would be a few years until she came back to perform again. Please don't make us wait so long.

A great show and performance as expected. I think the show/set list was very even and well thought out. It almost felt as if it was two separate shows. I love that the first half of the show was mostly ballads and second half was super dancy. This allowed for all to experience the best of Bjork. Cover Me was great in between Innoncence and Wanderlust because it gave us a slight break from all of the dancing and allowed us to have yet another intimate moment w/Bjork. This was also my 3rd show and I think this one was the best. Declare Independence! Raise your flag! HIGHER HIGHER!!!

thanks to my beloved, we had great seats which i know contributed to our experience.

it was my third time seeing this tour. björk told a new zealand newspaper that coachella was just warm-up and that they're finally comfortable and prepared - it shows. the energy between all the performers was not one of boredom from nearly a year of touring, but rather confidence and fun (1 month on, 1 month off type schedule helps).

there were no projections on the huge-ass screens to the side, nor were the search lights outside the venue on (i work blocks from the nokia, those shits are bright and noticeable). i wonder if it was to conserve energy or for some other random reason. either way, i appreciate the subconscious conservation.

my closest proximity, the spectacular sound, and company of my soulmate resulted in my better of the three times seeing this show. all i did was close my eyes, opened receptors and not sing. the water works commenced at 'anchor song.' a tear fell during 'unravel.' and full-on for 'unison' (i was so grateful + humbled).

the set list was also the better of the three, personally. for the intimate songs (unravel, the pleasure is all mine, joga to name a few), it was so quiet that the programming shook the place - literally. earth intruders is so intense (now with fire) as an opener, it makes the following songs seem small. thus, in the middle of the show as a "waker-upper" works a lot better.

björk's music is otherworldly, but it's her words that are overwhelming. she makes me feel not-so-alone in the, "the-world-is-a-beautiful-place, all-you-need-is-love" feeling. all i can say is ¡grrracias! (i think she likes how the word is said, but she might also know where she is - los angeles).

here's what she actually played (i'm surprised the info setlist missed a couple songs):

1. brennið Þið vitar - brass fanfare intro
2. anchor song (1st in english, then icelandic)
3. immature
4. unravel - the programming echoed + felt great.
5. unison - standing next to the one i'd want to unite with made this so special!
6. jóga - beautiful bass arrangement
7. hunter - makes me happy
8. the pleasure is all mine - thank you state-of-the-art sound, i felt it shake me
9. pagan poetry
10. who is it - great intro, wind pipes, the brass girls and then programming
11. desired constellation - played with the reatable with some improvising
12. earth intruders - fire! fire! this woke up the crowd and got 'em dancing/bouncing
13. army of me - spectacular version, so digitally staccato and full, + lasers!
14. innocence - ooh, confetti
15. cover me - i appreciate it sandwiched btwn the two more lively volta songs
16. wanderlust - most colorful!
17. hyperballad - i danced my ass of to the remixed outro
18. pluto - not as loud as i hoped, but great still

19. oceania - the brass arrangement is so cute. even the setup made it more intimate.
20. declare independence - the time i experienced it at coachella was much more intense.

Earth Intruders
Army of Me

So... IMHO the show was very uneven.
Hunter, Joga, Wanderlust, Who is It and Earth Intruders were SO STRONG it was ridiculous but Cover Me and Pleasure just DRAAAAGED and the set was like a roller coaster... Also I hated the sound at the venue but you could tell that bjork was really giving it all. She even sang happy birthday during the last song to a crew(?) member?
Overall I am glad I saw it but I still think this is the worst tour I've seen her on and I ahve seen all of them...
It's nice to see she is still getting a kick out of live performaces and I cant wait to hear the new Live CD.

No words can express how happy I felt there and back home tonight. She was absolutely phenomenal. Loved the set list, the arrangements, her brass girls and the set/lighting design. I don't know how she manages to do it, but she can out do any pop tart anyday. She did comment that she might not be back in U.S. for sometime. It only makes it more special. Earth Intruders was awesome, the fire was insane. I can't go into it...but I am just in the clouds. I got the Earth Intruders t-shirt. Cute. Don't stay way too long Bjork. :)

I have a question: on ticketmaster it says the show starts at 8:15. does that mean ratatat goes on at 8:15 or bjork does?
