| Thank you Björk for a wonderful concert, and for giving me the incentive and helping me find the courage to do some travelling this year, from far away Canada. Italy is such a beautiful country, and I met a friendly gang from Naples just before the concert, who were quite hospitable. And the audience was very well mannered and laid back, quietly and attentively listening to every wonderful note. I was especially blown away by the later songs, from Overture onwards. The acoustics at this venue were incredible, like really good quality hi-fi. And the confetti at the end, reminded me of the many snowy winter nights I listen to your music while driving a long stretch of the Trans Canada highway during a snowstorm. Which took my mind slightly off the scorching summer heat of Rome. /banjojoe - 4055 |

| I traveled all the way from Belgrade, Serbia to see that gig.. 1st - Venue is great, great, great... 2nd - Audience was very polite and very mixed.. I saw some older ladies and gentlemen, some young couple with a child, some couples in suits and evening dresses... I felt like I am in some theater watching opera until Bjork invited people to stand up... than concert became more rock style. 3rd - Setlist was great... I don't have an idea why she cut Oceania.. 4th - Her voice was in a very good condition... she done some experimental screaming which is always pleasure to hear... You know what I mean :) 5th - Some 3000 people were there... cameras were not allowed.. I was very scared to take a photo since they announced that Bjork might leave the stage if too much flashes are in front of her. 6th - I think she was a bit cold in the start... but later she started to smile... I like the way she says Grazie :) 7th - I was disappointed with her dress... I know that gold dress from previous gigs and I never liked it.. On Friday I confirmed my stance regarding her dress.. It is probably the worst piece of wardrobe I've ever seen... very very cheap.. I don;t know but I don't find anything artistic in it. I don't see how this dress is connected with Volta.. but never mind... 8th - Wonderbrass were crazy as Jonas Sen... it was funny to see him jumping around.. electronic guys are TOP!!!! :) 9th - Rome became one of my favorite cities in the world.... it was my first time there but not in Italy! | Absolutely amazing...the venue is one of the beautifulest I have ever been to. Bjork was awesome. In the middle of Wanderlust she said "You are too polite" and invited us to stand up and approach the stage...and so we did!!! The setlist was excellent. Although it was missing some essentials (at least for me) like Vertebrae by Vertebrae, Who Is it, Bachelorette and Immature, it was powerful and well balanced mixing seemingly the vibrant with the more quiet moments. She did a very emotional version of Unravel and the most fucking amazing version of Hidden Place. She also did Brennid Pid Vitar, Earth Intruders, Hunter, Joga, Pleasure Is All Mine, Army of Me, Desired Constellation, Hyperballad, Anchor Song, Pluto, Declare Independence...as far as I can remember. I must say once more how beautiful the venue was, great acoustics, even the lighting seemed to me more beautiful. I have been to all three London shows and the Olympia one but Rome's really stands out. Thank you Bjork!!! /spybou - 4015 |
