it really differs between shows , both the lighting , sometimes i can´t even see them , even if i want to , because the light is in my eyes , but also my mood . in a huge place like outdoors with thousands of people it can sometimes not be truthful to connect with the first few rows , they are perhaps in a certain mood that is quite different that the people in the back . so if you close your eyes and focus you might unite with
much more , but then again if you close your eyes you might isolate yourself so there is no rule , you just have to feel your way through and always always push it as hard as you can . i sometimes feel like each show is a riddle that needs to be solved differently . what works here won´t work next time and so on ... and everytime you walk on stage it could be the worst show you have ever done and the best show you
have ever done and that´s why i like it so much . you are never save , there is no rule how to do it . |
